A Magnificent Porcelain Collectors Plate by equine artist Fred Stone entitled MAN O' WAR-The Final Thunder-1917-1947.

The back of the plate reads:

In 1930 eight years after Man O'War retired to stud, the eternal friendship of groom Will Harbut and Man O'War was to begin.  For the next 17 years the big red horse and . . . . . .(Just a sample of the 150 plus words of the wonderful story of these two soulful individuals).

This porcelain plate is 8 1/4 inches in diameter, and is banded in a 24k gold border.

This edition was limited to 19,470 plates. Accompanied with a certificate of authenticity.
