SECRETARIAT-Framed B/W Photo-SIGNED Turcotte-FREE PIN

"It was if God decided to make the perfect racehorse" said an awestruck Chick Lang when he first saw Secretariat run. And the horse fulfilled that promise all the way to The Triple Crown and beyond. Never before has there been a horse with the charisma, sex appeal, and pizzazz that Secretariat had. Secretariat never actually defied nature. He was not her rival, but her gift. Sixteen years later felled by Laminitis, and buried at Claiborne Farm opposite the reknowned Swale. Ed Bowen said of the great chestnut, "He had moved us to tears before, and now in death he has again". Five years after winning The Triple Crown aboard Secretariat, jockey Ron Turcotte was seriously injured in a spill at Belmont Park on July 13, 1978 and has been confined to a wheelchair ever since.
A Wonderful Black and White Photograph of Secretariat on his way to victory in the Preakness. This 8x10 photograph is framed in a classic Walnut and Ebony frame. The frame measures 9 1/2 inches by 11 3/4 inches overall. Ready to hang on a wall,or display on your desk with an attached desk easel. Makes a super gift for any lover of horses.
