A Magnificent Porcelain Collectors Plate by artist Fred Stone. Signed in Indelible Gold Ink on the front of the plate, by jockey Eddie Arcaro (deceased) - jockey Warren Mehrtens (deceased) - jockey Johnny Longden (deceased) and the Artist, Fred Stone.

In 124 years, only eleven horses have won The Triple Crown. War Admiral (1937 winner) was the son of Man o'War and was ridden by the late Charles Kurtsinger. Whirlaway (1941 winner) won The Derby by eight lengths and was ridden by the late Eddie Arcaro. Count Fleet (1943 winner) won The Belmont by 25 lengths and was ridden by Johnny Longden. Assault (1946 winner) was a small colt from Texas, ridden by the late Warren Mehrtens.   

SELLS FOR $195.00 IN AMERICAN ARTISTS' CATALOG. This Porcelain Plate is 10 1/4 inches in diameter,and is banded in a 24k gold etched border of running race horses. This edition was limited to 2,500 plates. Accompanied with a certificate of authenticity which was issued by Graphics Buying Service  Ltd..
