A magnificent porcelain collectors plate by reknown horseracing artist Fred Stone.This is a RARE and hard to find size of 9 1/4 inches. Not many of this size were ever produced making it a hard to find and a rare collectible.

Back of the plate reads: "Horses talk to each other not only through outward gestures and sound, they talk to each other with their souls. The sensitive feeling of attachment is strongest in the foal. A current of receptivity seems to be flowing towards the mother, and a sort of hypnotic response is passed back from her to the little creature".

This porcelain plate is 9 1/4 inches in diameter, and is banded in a 24k gold border. This edition was limited to 9,500 plates.
